This is for a road crank - chainline 40-42mm - so won't fit an MTB crank!
Developed with World Cup powerhouse Adam Craig, the 1x (pronounced one-bye) is purpose-built for cross country riding with a 1x9, 1x10, 1x11 drive train. If you are running 1x and don't need a bash guard, this is the ticket. No more homemade contraptions needed! Fits seat tube sizes 28.6, 31.8 & 34.9mm (with supplied rubber shims).
CX chainline = 40-42mm for inner chainring position on road double crank.
The CX does not have the drop bracket that the MTB version does, because of the much larger chainrings that are used (40-44T) and far less carbon frames. So it's lighter and a bit cleaner looking.
