Probably the most popular and widely used of all of Reynolds' performance-orientated steel offerings; 853 hits that sweet spot of performance, weight and cost. Accept no imitations - every tube is 853 creating that unmistakable ride quality!

It's matched to their full carbon CGR1 fork that saves around 900-grams over the steel variant, keeping weight low, handling keen and features bottle/Anything Cage mounting points.

Genesis has continued that trend throughout the build, using quality components that are proven and will stand the test of time.

Features:
  • Shimano's GRX groupset has become a go-to for gravel bikes, providing dependable shifting, myriad gearing options and longevity at a variety of performance levels. Also using their RX600 double chainset with 46/30T chainrings, paired to an 11-34T cassette, which keeps the Croix competitive on road and off.
  • The shifters, hydraulic brake callipers and derailleurs all come from the top-tier RX-810 lineup, saving a little weight and delivering increased shifting and braking performance.
  • At the rear of the bike, there's the ability to run a 45mm tyre on the provided 700c rims, while at the front you can use up to a 40mm tyre. If you'd prefer to run a 650B wheelset, it's 44mm and 40mm.
  • Thru-axles front and rear, tubeless ready rims and tyres, flat mount disc brakes, a third bottle mount and rack and guard mounts complete the package.
